History was indeed made on 8th August 2015 when TM Entertainment headed by Terry Mason and Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music pulled off a successful show at The Apollo Theater in New York. With the help of EL, Lighter, The Compozers, Shatta Wale, Kwaw Kese, Jadiluc, Squadee, Duke of D2, Bizsy Allstate, Bisa Kdei, actor John Dumelo, comedians – Cocoyam and Boga and Afro Pop Nigerian artiste Banky W, Sarkodie was able to pack the 1500+ seat auditorium

Sarkodie has revealed on Denta Show that he nearly cancelled the show two days before the concert as he had only sold 400 tickets out of 1500+ tickets. “Looking at the people i will be flying from Ghana to the USA without a sponsor i nearly cancelled but Terry Mason is the one who inspired me not to.” He said.

He added that he was surprised his team came to tell him that they had been able to sell out tickets and others were even at the back wanting to come inside when Kwaw Kese was performing. Sarkodie is the first Ghanaian and African to have his own concert at Apollo and sold it out too. You can watch the full video.
