Decorated African rapper, Sarkodie, has stated that he might push back the release of his upcoming album. Sarkodie in an interview on Afrobeats Podcast with Adepope Olajide aka Shopsy said he was still holding on whether to release his upcoming album ‘No Pressure’ or push it back from 9th of July, 2021 for something big which was about to happen and he couldn’t talk about it at the moment. But he would definitely drop a song on the 9th of July

In his words

“So 9th of July Sarknation I don’t want them to freak out it still holds at this point on the 9th of July but there’s something special happening that, I might have to push it a little bit I am not saying I’ve decided but for what’s happening it’s so like necessary and I need to capture that might affect the release but, we’re still gonna release a record on the 9th.

There’s something I can’t talk about and it’s big it’ll help if we could push it but at this point, it still holds on the 9th of July that’s my birthday and it’ll be the best time to release it the next day 10th is my birthday it’s the best timing to give my fans gift for my birthday but it’s still holding on the 9th of July if anything happens I’ll get you guys posted.”

Sarkodie added that he has Giggs, Wale, Kwesi Arthur, Darko vibes and two young new acts from Ghana.
